Celebrate Agatha Christie Week with a murder mystery event in Wanstead

Four chefs. Three courses. Two hours. One victim. That's the setting for a 1940s-themed murder mystery event at Wanstead Library this month to mark Agatha Christie Week.

"The war may be over but the fighting has just begun in this comedy whodunit that pits posh nosh against black market rations in a case that asks if you can solve the crime," said a library spokesperson.

The event – which will take place on 29 September from 6.30pm to 9pm (tickets: £5; booking required) – is suitable for those aged nine and over.
