The City of London's Epping Forest and Commons Committee has given the green light to proceed with plans for a play area in Wanstead Park.

"The play area will be made of natural materials and designed to complement the environment and heritage of the park and situated in an unobtrusive site. We are working with Redbridge Council and the City of London to develop the plans, and hope to consult the local community on designs later this year," said Amy Unsworth of the Aldersbrook Playground Campaign.
