Humanist-infused poetry

Members of the East London Humanists will be hosting an evening of poetry at Wanstead Library this month.

"We invite you to a celebration of Humanist-infused poetry. 'A poet is a sage; a humanist; a physician to all men,' so wrote Keats shortly before he died at the tender age of 25," said Paul Kaufman, chair of the group. Attendees are encouraged to bring a poem to read.

The event will take place on 22 January from 7pm (free).
