An artist who produced a 1,000-piece jigsaw of local scenes will be displaying his original paintings and the remaining copies of the puzzle at The Stow Brothers this month.

"My wife and I have always enjoyed doing jigsaws and we were inspired by a favourite of ours – of village houses in Southwold – to design one of our own," said Neil Clayden, who combined 25 of his paintings of Wanstead landmarks to create the puzzle (priced £18.50).

The project has raised over £100 for the charity Bloodwise.
