Ultra-Low Emission Zone expansion will include Wanstead

The Mayor of London has confirmed the capital's Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) – which will see the most polluting vehicles charged for entering central London from April 2019 – will be extended out to the North and South Circular in 2021.

While the majority of Redbridge will not be affected, Wanstead and parts of South Woodford will fall within the new boundary.

Drivers within the expanded zone using non-compliant vehicles will have to pay a daily ULEZ charge of £12.50.
