Local photographer Geoff Wilkinson will open a new exhibition at the 84 Gallery on Nightingale Lane this month, displaying images from a project documenting locations in the East End of London connected with Jack the Ripper.

"Most of the photos have been taken on cold, dark, rainy nights at infamous locations for maximum atmosphere. It seems appropriate, therefore, to open on a dark winter evening," said Geoff.

The display will be unveiled on 24 November (6pm to 9pm) and runs until 21 December.
