Redbridge Council is proposing to install a mobility hub on Wanstead High Street.
“These are small-scale transport interconnection hubs that make it easy to change from one mode of transport to another,” said a spokesperson.
The proposals – which will see the hub located outside 5–8 Clock House Parade – include a bay for an electric car club vehicle, an electric vehicle charging point and a parklet containing seating facilities, cycle parking and planters.
A consultation on the plans is open until 8 March.
