Wanstead Park cycling consultation: have your say on three options

The City of London is consulting the public over the future of cycling in Wanstead Park.

“Currently, there is one designated cycle path through the park… The rest of the park is subject to a 1930s byelaw which prohibits cycling. Feedback suggests this current mix of rules is confusing,” said a spokesperson. The consultation proposes three options: no changes, a complete cycling ban, or allowing cycling on paths throughout the whole park. The consultation closes at 9am on 10 May.
