Eton Manor RFC has launched a campaign to raise funds for the purchase and installation of a new 100-seater stand, which will include two pitch-side disabled bays.
The project is estimated to cost £28,000, with club funds and the naming rights accounting for £10,000. It is hoped the remaining money will be raised from community donations.
“We know it is a huge ask to contribute to this project. We believe the stand demonstrates we are looking to our future, putting in place an infrastructure that will allow us to grow: a rugby club where our ethos of inclusion and giving back to our community is abundant,” said club chairman Dave Dennis.
The stand – which uses a modular system to allow for an increase in capacity in the future – will open the door for the Nutter Lane venue to stage high-value fixtures.
