Summer ready: new equipment for Wanstead Park play area

Wanstead Park’s Woodland play area closed for refurbishment work earlier this month.

“Thanks to fundraising by the Aldersbrook Families Association and the Friends of Wanstead Parklands, the play area will reopen by early July with new equipment, including a nest swing and adventure trail. All ready for summer holidays full of fun in Wanstead Park!” said a spokesperson for the City of London Corporation, which manages the park as part of Epping Forest.

Located behind the Temple, the play area first opened in June 2023.
