Planning Committee approves Hermon Hill plans at third vote

Planning permission has been granted to develop the site of the former Ark Fish Restaurant on Hermon Hill following a series of Planning Committee votes.

In September, the initial vote was tied before a second vote approved the scheme. However, that decision was later ruled defective because committee members had not received officer advice before voting and no proposer or seconder had been recorded.

The application returned to the committee in October, when councillors voted for a third time and approved the plans.
