We love Wanstead: community gathers to celebrate hoarding art

A community project to revamp the hoardings surrounding the Evergreen Field construction site has been completed.

Artists and residents gathered at the High Street site last month to enjoy the artwork and local history on display.

“A huge thank you to developer MTVH and contractor Skillcrown for making this possible. Most importantly, thank you to all who got involved and helped shape something special for Wanstead,” said Bronagh Byrne, who coordinated the initiative.

A four-storey development is being built on the site.
